License does not cover this version

If you see the following message when starting or activating:

Could not activate license: 
Your license only covers up to version xxxx.xx. 
You are using version xxxx.x.x.

it means that the version of Magnetron you are trying to use is newer than the latest version covered by your license.

Perpetual license updates

A perpetual Magnetron license includes one year of free updates from the date of purchase. Any version released during that period will remain covered by your license and can be used indefinitely.

After the included update period has ended, you have two options:

Update your license

You can renew the update period for your perpetual license to get access to newer versions of Magnetron.

To do so, log in to your account. Here you will see what versions you license covers, and if the license can be renewed.

Install a covered version

You don't have to update your license. You can continue using any version of Magnetron that is covered by your existing license.

Older versions of Magnetron are available on our download page.

Simply install a version that was released within your license's update period. Your license will continue to work with that version.
